(StreetSinger_1938-KLSaigal-BabulMoraNaiharChotoHiJaay-WajidAliShah_RCBoral)

- Babul Mora Naihar Chhuuto Hii Jaae    (Movie Track Duet Version)

(StreetSinger_1938-KananDevi-KLSaigal-BabulMora-ArzooLucknavi_RCBoral(MovieTrack))

('Collector' Hem Jain's Comment : Saigal & Kanan Devi sang several songs in movies. These Duets were never issued on Discs as "Duets" because Saigal and Kanan Devi were having life long contracts with two different Record companies namely Hindustan Records & Megaphone Records respectively.

Hindustan Record Company could get only two famous Saigal solos- "Babul Mora Naihar" & Jeevan Been Madhur Na Baje", though in the film 'Babul Mora Naihar" was also sung as KananDevi solo with a different tune, which was never issued on Disc.)

- Suquun Dil Ko Mayassar Gul-o-Samar Men Nahin

(StreetSinger_1938-KLSaigal-KananDevi-SuquunDilKoMayassar-AarzooLakhnawi-RCBoral(MovieTrack))

('Collector' Hem Jain's Comment : New Theater's StreetSinger 1938 had such a great storyline that its commercial potential for dramas and films was unlimited.Charlie Chaplin made "Limelight" in 1952 and Hrishikesh Mukherjee made Abhiman in 1973 with Amitabh Bachchan & Jaya Bhaduri with similar roles as Saigal & Kanan Bala.

Saigal & Kanan Devi sang as many as 5 Duets in StreetSinger which are Nos.40 to 44 in Saigals 110 known Hindi Film Song list. These Duets were never issued on Discs as "Duets"because Saigal and Kanan Devi were having life long contracts with two different Record companies namely Hindustan Records & Megaphone Records respectively. All these 5 songs were issued as Kanan Devi solos by Megaphone on either sides of Disc Nos JNG_1081 & JNG-1091 plus one side of JNG_1073)
