Rajender, Panchkula, Haryana, is a Saigal sing-alike who grew up on his films and married someone equally passionate about Saigal's music.

Ten years ago, they met another Saigal fan and singer in Bhupinder Singh, a retired irrigation engineer of the Bhakra Beas Construction Board in Himachal Pradesh. "People there used to call me Saigal saab," says Bhupinder, who introduced Rajender and Radha to the Environment Society's Swar Group.
